Initially labeling myself as a screenwriter by trade, I have opened myself up more to the other aspects of filmmaking to become better as a filmmaker. I look to create meaningful work that stands out and shows the world from his perspective, creating narratives and showcasing stories Always itching to do more for the world of film and create art that resonates with everyone. I believe film is a transformative medium that can help people understand the human experience more. So on my journey to the top, I also want to educate others on their level to increase media literacy. I desire for film to be understood and I make understandable films that grip audiences and steal hearts. I seek to shake things up so that more perspectives are seen and that people can see themselves on screen. Because I will always be a storyteller first, which is why screenwriting came so naturally to me when I first started, the other aspects of being a filmmaker came along and only added to my skill set. But as I learned more about filmmaking I realized I had so much to learn and grow. Because being considered one of the best filmmakers is not enough for me to be fulfilled, I want to leave a mark in more than one way, not just to lend my name to the brief whispers of the film but to lend it to film history.
